How-To: Adding contacts: Google Talk, MSN, SIP and phones

To get a new contact appear on your roster you have to send an invitation to your buddy. This can be easily achieved in the following steps:

While browsing your roster, click on or press Menu softkeys.
Choose Add contact submenu and press Select softkey.

Press Select on Contact type field to get to the list of available contact types you can add.

Choose the contact type you want to add and press Select softkey.

Fill-in your buddy's ID and provide some description in Nickname field.

If you are adding a telephone number reference, the number must be given in International format including country code and area code.

Press Invite softkey to send an invitation to your buddy.

A new contact will appear on your roster as soon as your buddy accept your invitation. If you are adding an MSN, SIP or telephone reference, the contact will appear on the roster immidiately.
